I hadn’t thought of the advantage of the bottom-up approach in a global market, where workers and consumers have more ties to the American economy than corporations do. Reich describes Obama’s bottom-up approach as a way to sidestep the current problems of supply and demand with innovation.
I’m not sure I’m getting across the satisfying mental leap I got from this piece, so I hope you read it, it’s short.
One of the first podcasts that I ever subscribed to is the Chrysler Music Legends podcast. I guess I’m a sucker for music shows that are interspersed with interview, commentary, etc.

I’m guessing that Chrysler decided that they needed to save some money (the US auto industry stinks right now), and they’ve pulled the plug.
The podcasts were put together for Chrysler by Rock River Music. They did a great job with these podcasts.
I am going to miss getting these monthly podcasts.
Here I’ve updated the site (yet again, I know), and never did really post anything about it. The site is now a true Tumblr template (that I crafted). I can change the colors with the nifty built in color picker thing in Tumblr, I can add custom css, etc. Everything that Tumblr offers.
I might post a copy of the template for others to use (if there is any interest in such things).
For someone who went to college originally to be a writer, I certainly don’t seem to be doing a whole lot of it anymore.

This plan for energy use in the US is so simple and smart. The basic idea: switch cars to natural gas by replacing natural gas with wind power (for electricity generation until we can get fully electric cars). Hopefully something comes of it.
If you are an US citizen, you might want to
let your senators know that violating the spirit of the 4th Amendment is not a good thing.
